Wild Game Mince Meat
Ingredients
- 2 cups molasses
- 4 cups grape juice
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
- 8 T butter
- 3 pounds elk or venison boneless
- 4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 lbs raisins
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 lbs currants
- 2 tsp allspice
- 2 tsp ginger
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsp cloves
- 1 lemon rind and juice
- 10 – 15 apples
Instructions
- Boil meat until tender in 2 cups water.
- Remove meat and run it through a food chopper
- Cut broth down to ¾ cup.
- Chop the apples.
- Mix the other ingredients and cook until fruit is tender
- Freeze or can process 10 minutes at 10 lbs. pressure.
