Kansas Outfitters are from a state known for monster whitetails and where the dreams of the next world record deer is among the most thought of in the US. The state has a License draw system with the easiest being the bow tags. If you choose this state make sure you talk to the Kansas outfitters and verify the chances of drawing a license. Also, to make sure you don’t miss out on a hunt have a back up plan with a state that has guaranteed tags.
Although, The state of Kansas hunts are known for big white tails and turkey, What you might not know is you can also hunt elk and antelope.
The Kansas hunting outfitters are plentiful and a hard choice to make.

Kansas Hunting Areas
First thing you need to do is choose the Kansas hunting area before you look for outfitter. Kansas has some really nice areas that house some monster bucks. But as usual the bigger bucks are concentrated only in certain areas so make sure you figure this out before calling Kansas outfitter.
Kansas Outfitters Harvest Results
A key thing we do before choosing a Kansas hunt is check out what the particular hunting outfitters harvests each year. Some outfitters fill their camps every week with as many hunters as possible. Although this is possible to do with a lot of ground, it is usually a sign that the quality of the deer will go down. We like to look for hunting outfitters that limit either their total hunts for the year or will schedule off weeks between their Kansas hunts. This shows some sort of management technique. As stated before it is not a hard fast rule but has usually worked out for us.
The Type of Kansas Hunts
Fully guided all inclusive– this is the most expensive but for the person that likes to have someone that can feed you, drive you to the stands, and take care of game, this is a great option
Fully guided hunts, hunt only– is an option that will be excellent for a hunter that likes to figure out a lot on their own. Also would like to take a lot of advice from a guide that knows the area and animal movement.
Semi-guided Kansas Hunts- are for the hunter that is money conscious and/or a person that likes to figure out things on there own. This is done with little guide involvement, but a good Kansas hunting guide will at least give you some helpful tips or advice if the hunting is slow.
There are variations of Kansas hunts with Kansas outfitters, so as you do your research make sure you know exactly what you are getting. Never assume something especially if it is important to you.
