Boar Roast
Ingredients
- 1 3 1/2 to 4 pound Boar roast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme
- 3 cloves garlic, smash
- Dash of paprika
- 4 strips of bacon
Instructions
- Remove as much fat as possible from the boar roast
- Combine basil, pepper, thyme, and garlic
- Rub into roast on all sides
- Sprinkle paprika
- Place bacon strips across top of roast
- Place roast in roasting bag and follow instructions for roast pork
- Roast until well done 3-4 hours
- Roast must be an internal temp of 160 degrees well done 170 degrees
