I went on a spring bear hunt with Mike Richie with 2 of my boys and we had a blast. I would recomend the spring bear hunt to anyone. My 14 year old boy killed a huge boar that was 1/2″ from being in Boone and Crockett. I am still waiting for the age of the bear from the Idaho F&G, but it was definitely an old bear. My other son killed a nice bear also. When you start seeing this many older bears you know the area isn’t over hunted. we are going to try a mountain lion hunt with Mike in the near future.
