Big Southwestern Nebraska Mule Deer

As we all know, the magnificent Mule Deer is the most sought after trophy in all of North America today. With numbers dropping across the west and big mule deer bucks becoming harder to find, this is perhaps one of your best chances at harvesting that Mule Deer buck that you seek. We have several large ranches leased across western Nebraska with good populations of Mule Deer and tags that are easy to obtain. Archery and Muzzleloader tags are over – the – counter, Rifle tags are sold on a draw basis and leftovers usually sell out July 9 day they go on sale. Rifle hunts are always held in mid-November right in the middle of the rut. Muzzleloader hunt dates are always held from December 1 – 31 and Archery Hunts will be held September 15 – December 31 except during the rifle season. The terrain on these hunts is easy to medium in difficulty, most hunts will be spot and stalk with some ground blinds and tree stands being used on occasions. Terrain will consist of creek bottoms, CRP, rolling sage brush and yuccas, canyons, cedar woodlots, alfalfa, corn and wheat. Hunters should expect to see Mule Deer ranging from 160” – 175” B&C / P&Y with the occasional 180”+ B&C / P&Y Being harvested. Tags are also good for Whitetails should we find and you elect to harvest that Trophy Whitetail!! No Trophy Fees! You can also add a Whitetail to this hunt for $1000.

Nebraska Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts

Adventures Wild has several exclusive leases in southwestern Nebraska along the Republican River adjacent to Kansas and 25 miles from Colorado for huge Whitetails. Currently we are leasing over 6000 acres of prime river and creek bottom with plenty of farmland habitat, that hold plenty of great bucks. Most hunting will be done by tree stand, with limited spot & stalk opportunities available. Hunters can expect to see 140” – 160” class bucks, with the possibility of 170” plus monsters. The best part is Archery and Muzzleloader permits are over-the-counter, no drawing required.

Rifle hunts will take place during the peak of the rut in November, limited to 8 hunters per year 4 at a time. Rifle tags are sold on quota basis and usually sell out around late October!! A tremendous late season rut Muzzleloader hunt in December is also available. Archery hunts are September 15 – December 31, except during rifle season! These are great hunts with high populations of Deer!!

Nebraska Merriam and Rio Grande Turkey Hunts

Hunt the Republican River bottoms, creek bottoms and the hill country of Southwest Nebraska for both Merriam and Rio Grande Turkeys! Nebraska hunts offer you the chance to harvest both birds with a generous three Bird Limit. Our hunts are for one or two Birds with the option to add a third bird. Nebraska tags are over the counter and can be bought easily over the Internet and printed off on your printer. Our area of Nebraska has very high Turkey populations with several years of double and even triple hatches!! Adventures Wild prides itself in the fact that since starting this hunt we have had 100% success! These fast paced hunts offer you the chance to harvest both the Merriam and the Rio Grande Turkey in one hunt.
